Some biggest problems faced by farmers in India

Definition of Agriculture:-
Agriculture is the science and art of cultivating plants and livestock, agriculture is the science, art, or practice of cultivating the soil, producing crops, and raising livestock and in varying degrees the preparation and marketing of the resulting products.

Some major problems that farmers in India are facing in Agriculture.

Inflation rate of fertilisers and agricultural products

Sometimes supply is more than demand at that time,the price of products is less then the original value or if they are not able to sell then all the agricultural products get useless.

Indian farmers are dependent on monsoons and weather

Farmers also suffer due to lack of irrigation facilities. More­over, ordinary varieties of seed can be replaced by better varieties if there is an assured supply of wa­ter. The need for the construction of minor irriga­tion works of a local nature is both urgent and pressing. In fact, the total water potential in the country is more than adequate to irrigate the whole areas under cultivation. However, the present prob­lem is one of discovering cheap and easy methods of utilising these vast supplies of water.

Many farmers are facing problems in irrigation sector

A lot of farmers crops is wasted due to insufficient rainfall. Many farmers don’t have their own agricultural implements because of which farmers ask for help from others by playing more tax.

Unaware of agricultural technology

Rural farmers do not know much about the agricultural implements,because of which they have suffered a lot of troubles.
Many implements are also get damaged in the agricultural science centre like Krishi Vigyan Kendra,and they can not reach the farmers easily because of which many farmers won’t get familiar with agricultural implements.

Many farmers are facing problems in getting loans from the bank

many farmers who are economically weak have faces a lot of troubles in taking a loan from the bank and after getting a loan,it takes a lot of troubles to repay, The government should also help the farmer in such circumstances.
